I never thought I would end up with a stage 3 cancer diagnosis at 45.
I ran. I practiced yoga. I ate fu***ng kale and avocados. I even have a kangen machine. I did not feel or look sick. Except feeling tired.

I felt mostly numb. I wondered for days WHY.
Why did I get cancer?
Why me?
Why. Why. Why.

Its has been a whirlwind of emotions.
I have felt extremely alone. Especially when making the choice I have to face cancer head on.

Everyone has suggestions and everyone tell you someone’s story.
And I felt really overwhelmed.
I prayed. I cried.

Literally for the first two months after my diagnosis I would be fine and then two seconds later, I would fall to my knees in tears and guttural moans and screams.

It did not help I was diagnosed two days after thanksgiving and spent christmas planning my funeral and upgrading my life insurance value.

I avoided - and still kinds do - people and gatherings.

I started resenting people that would treat me as if I was dying and asking me how I felt. Because I kinda felt like I was since no one was giving me any hope beyond chemo, mastectomies and radiation.
And for who ever takes that path, I do not hold judgement. But here I stood, a holistic practitioner who knew thae truth about cancer and chemo…and outcomes. A single and when I say single I mean SINGLE mother to an active 10 year old.

I thought of what me following the trend with out question would mean to her…
It would mean a disabled mom for a long period of time due to surgeries
It meant witnessing her mom’s health decline.

Then I thought about me.
My values. My faith. Witnessing my several family members go through conventional therapies…
I thought about my love of yoga and the potential of loosing my arm strength
I thought about my love of paddle boarding and the side effect of loosing pectoral muscle with mastectomies
I thought of showering and not having breast to lather
I though of s*x and not having breast
And I thought about all the side effects of surgery, medication and chemo and I realized that with all that I would be half alive but mostly dead.

My self confidence would go to s**t for sure and who I am to be if I have no energy? No self confidence?

I did one thing that helped me pick myself up:
I worshipped my way out of darkness
No I am not a christian. But I have had unwavering faith in my creator since I can remember.

I fell on my knees daily praying to Gaia, Jesus, Amun-ra, Kalima, and all the ancestors who walked before me. And I reconnected with the core of my soul- my subtle bodies…realized my cancer had little to do with food toxicity but all to do with viral exposure, emotinal toxicity and TRAUMA.

I educated myself deeply in all forms of cancer, what genetic and cell mutations are how they happen what causes them and I got my thinking and health practitioners hat on and got to work. I created a plan for me.

I accepted the fact that this cancer can take me from the physical plan of existence but so can a banana peel, and so can I drive to the grocery store.

I made peace with that, and I made peace with knowing that I had prepared as best as I could in the event that that would happen, which is the responsible thing to do anyway, even if you’re not sick.

I commited to
MY BELIEFS
MY FAITH
MY VISION OF HEALING
WHAT MY DEFINITION OF CANCER IS
HOW I BELIEVE CANCER CAN BE MANAGED
and I shut everyone else and their opinion out and you know what else I shut out?
Cancer.

I chose to BE CANCER FREE
I chose to make lifestyly changes that supported health and vibrancy not stress chaos and sadness
I gave my medical teams- went through two- the middle finger.
And defied every single suggestion with a study in hand.

Today, I am 4 months past the tunnel viaio episode and echo auditory dysfunction you fall into when you hear “by the size and qualities we see in your calcification, we estimate you are at advanced stage 3”

I am so proud of myself.
Its been 4 months post my diagnosis.
I feel healthier than ever
My body is whole and healing
I have been practicing forgiveness and reparenting to address trauma and deep rooted issues
I take time daily for prayer and gratitude
But the most important thing I am doing
Is inspiring others to see cancer and chronic illness diagnosis as a pathway to making life changes that are likely long over due.

I have CHOSEN to forego all conventional treatment pathways which are a wide open gate and I have chosen to take the narrow gate -Matthew 7:13

I am sticking to a daniel or alkaline diet
I am overdosing on juice
I am not drinking on thr regular
Have done away w coffee except as a treat
I am walking around
I am making plans five years down the road
And I am taking detours, vacations, spending $49 on a health supplement daily
Because
I AM WORTHY OF PUTTING IN THE TIME AND EFFORT
The truth is - I am fu***ng amazing. My life is an amazing compilation of stories that have led me to experience alchemy of the soul.
And cancer has been the blessing that brought me back to myself and my connection to the source of it all.

Cancer happens to cancer surgeons
One out of every three people you know will be diagnosed with cancer.

In four days I have moved a ton of f***l plaque
Its tar coming out of me…

There are so many oncology practices outside the FDA regulated USA that I decided to give them a try. I like them because they incorporate acu points for application.

Today was a heavy detox day.
