We opened The Shoppe to see a dream come true and we did it! We are proud of what we established in Greenville. We are especially proud that our kids had a front-row seat to some of life's most amazing lessons. Together, as a family, we transformed this little no-name corner into our corner. We opened walls, and stained floors, and saw a vision come alive. We rolled up our sleeves and worked hour after hour and we poured in long nights and even longer days. We did it together. We were able to create a space for Nathan to do his thing and a spot to showcase the most amazing and rarest finds. Nathan’s knack for digging for the most authentic items is a true gift. We created a destination. Our growing boys (family and friends) have seen over the years us creating something from nothing, staying true to our passion, and what real hard work looks like. We hold our heads high because those are life lessons worth going for!
As we close the doors at the end of April Join us on April 19th, 6-9 pm and April 27th, 9-4pm for sales. Our 6000 Square foot building is full of nostalgic finds, displays, lighting, furniture, fixtures, shelves, office items, and more which we will be offloading so bid and dig!
Once our doors close, you can continue to follow our Instagram and Etsy https://dodsondigco.etsy.com for authentic finds. Nathan will continue doing what he loves, one unique find at a time.
We are truly nostalgic because we have made the hard decision that the brick-and-mortar piece of the business no longer makes sense for us moving forward. Due to things beyond our control, we are closing the doors at the end of April.
As we approach our 8th anniversary with our brick-and-mortar store, Dodson Dig Co, we want to express our gratitude to you! Thank you for an incredible 8 years in the perfect location in Greenville! We are grateful for the North Main community nestled in the gateway of downtown Greenville, which was the perfect sweet spot for our dream. We opened The Shoppe to make our dream come true, and we did it! Creating a vibe and a rest stop for personal stories was high on the list when we opened. The chess games, backgammon, and a shoppe where time stopped. Digging for items that tell a story kept folks coming back. On any given day folks meandered in, could take a seat and talk. Oh if these walls could talk! We created a historical welcome mat. Families lingered and generational stories were shared.
Folks found items that meant something to them. It was a collector's dream.
