Girls N Bloom Open Recruitment 🌸🧡

It’s almost time to bloom into a new year of programming and we are recruiting girls ages 9-13 to join our Girls N Bloom! As we continue to bloom, there are more girls we are looking to support, mentor, and equip along their journey with us in addition to their families. Our weekly meeting time for our Girls N Bloom group is Every Tuesday 5-7pm starting the week of September 11th.

What can you expect from our programming?

•Implementation of Girls Circle Evidence-based Curriculum that is culturally relevant at our weekly meetings
• Receive mentorship & support
• Develop new friendships
• Cultural outings, community service, mend of the year trip, and more!

I spy Holiday decor 👀 While creating design boards for our client Abby, she mentioned to us how she craved nothing more for her space than to be able to decorate for the holidays in it, as this is something that brings her so much joy. So what did our team do? We of course had to include a dedicated section on our design board with holiday decor options and layouts. Our client hired us to refresh her home. We sourced furnishings, lighting, wall art and accessories.

Sophisticated Office for Him. When designing this elevated office space in an open concept home - flow was at the forefront. Tying the spaces together ensuring the rooms reflected personality and style were at the forefront.

Mix of metals, moody tones, luxe lighting, and a touch of sophistication created a space for this entrepreneur to work and strategize. (Stay tuned to see more of the play area ...)

Styling can be so intimidating. With so many options to shop ...sometimes you don't know where to begin. My best advice..use what you have and incorporate what you need. (In this case, I noticed the Bible right away.)

I first start styling projects by taking an assessment of what you currently own. Your spaces should reflect the people living in it. Always.

Scale is important. I personally love the minimalist approach. Larger an item, the less items needed to fill the shelves.

Try to incorporate glass as much as you can. This helps transfer light (natural light in this case).

Last, incorporate mixed metals. I stress this with all of my clients. Metals mix. It will come out fine ...trust me. In this space we incorporated gold and black.

A picture is worth a thousand words. While touring our client's home we came across this art work sitting on the floor (thanks to a recent move). We asked "What's the story behind this?"

Long behold this art work is very sentimental to our client. It captures the beauty of his entrepreneurial journey.

I knew immediately we had to incorporate this piece in our design. We wanted to warm the spaces by incorporating moodier hues while balancing with a touch of sophistication.

Interior Designers saves marriages.

Exhibit A. Pretty & Functional. We continuously source frame tv for our client projects for this reason alone.

Our client's home is an historic home which means the rooms are divided (non-open concept). While entertaining, the kitchen is the heartbeat like most homes.

recommended the frame tv to make both parties happy. The wife gets pretty art and the husband gets to watch his sports or stream his recipes as needed.

PEACOCK BOURBON ON NORTH MAIN - DOWNTOWN GREENVILLE

When we met with our clients we realized we had a family who truly loves people to their core but truly didn't love their kitchen.

While working with couples we tap into the person individually to determine how to "marry" their styles. If both parties aren't happy we clearly didn't do our jobs.

For he is all things bourbon. loves all things peacocks. Together, they both love to entertain and hang around their favorite people ( their sweet pups, family & friends).

Once we identified the above we had a game plan of attack for their color scheme and functionality of the space.

Villas10 was hired alongside for this project. Early on, we sourced all the things ensuring their project moved along timely. Good design takes time!!!
