In spirit of the new year, this energetic mood board gives height to a midcentury modern palette with vibrant colors and dynamic lively patterns. A client requested a sophisticated recreational space and this palette provides inspiration for their vision.

The warmth of the textures and colors inspire the feeling of autumn. The rustic nature of the LVT ties it all together, reminiscent of firewood on a cold day.

Celebrating Nicole Lindemer for her recognition at the AIA Greenville Design Awards as a (not so) newly architect. Nicole has been with our firm for eight years and licensed for two. Her tenacity is an inspiration to all who work with her.

On Friday, our team attended the St. Joseph’s/Candler’s 21st Annual SmartWomen’s Luncheon & Expo. It is the annual fundraiser for St. Joseph's/Candler's Mary Telfair Women's Hospital, which includes a Mammography Fund for patients who are uninsured or underinsured. Batson Associates has been supporting St. Joseph’s/Candler’s fundraising efforts for over 8 years and was privileged to participate in this worthy cause.

Catherine has a bachelor of interior design from Louisianna State University. Her design style is a mix of classic and innovative. She believes interior design goes beyond aesthetics. We are very excited to welcome Catherine & her design savvy to our Batson team!

Batson is an awesome place to work! In honor of National Boss' Day, we express our appreciation to our Principals for their support, inspiration, and leadership.

Our Batson family enjoyed an eventful day at the beautiful Tryon International Equestrian Center experiencing the force and finesse of the WCRA rodeo. Congratulations to the champions and a special thanks to Taco Mundo for a delicious lunch.

Batson Associates answered the ‘urgent need’ call for snacks from the Ronald McDonald House in Greenville for their Ronald McDonald Family Room. When a child is hospitalized, the love and support of family is as powerful as the strongest medicine and this special room serves as a quiet place for families with a child receiving treatment. The Ronald McDonald Family Room is a place for them to rest with access to a computer, variety of snacks, coffee, and a comforting ear to listen.

Project architect, Nicole Lindemer, visits Lakes and Bridges Charter School in Easley, SC to review underslab coordination. This construction marks the final phase of renovations to the school. Batson began working with Lakes and Bridges in 2017 to convert a former car dealership into the school it is today.

Did you know that today is World Alzheimer’s Awareness Day? Our firm’s design of a new Lifeplan campus for Presbyterian Homes of Georgia includes a 30-room Memory Support community. It is a safe, secure and homelike environment, with state-of-the-art design that offers peace of mind to residents and their loved ones. The community includes this tranquil courtyard for residents to enjoy and spend time with family.

Let’s Talk Floors! Glenda Cordray with JJ Flooring visited our studio today and we learned about commercial flooring: LVT, carpet tile, and Kinetex, a textile composite flooring. Kinetex offers the versatility of an LVT product with the durability and sound absorbency of carpet – and some great color and pattern options! Thanks Glenda for the flooring instruction and for lunch!

Did you know? Concrete floors have inherent moisture, even months/years after installation. Today, our team learned about v***r barrier products from Koster Waterproofing Systems for use on our projects to address these issues. Thanks to Jim Brunson of Bessco, Inc. for the instruction (and delicious lunch too)!

Today we celebrate our CHO, Chief Happiness Officer, Ellie Batson! She is an absolute joy to work with. Always willing to help... especially when food is around! Happy National Dog Day Ellie!

This August marks 5 years since Batson Associates collaborated with Hughes Development, Clemson University, and Prisma Healthcare to help alleviate the nursing shortage in SC.

This week Clemson School of Nursing is back in session & this spacious auditorium will be filled with aspiring nurses eager to learn. Welcome Back!

We are excited to partner with Cherrydale Elementary School again as they kick off their house party. Best of luck to the Cherrydale Panthers as they each write their own story.
