Hannah and Matty Abraham are starting a new competitive mixed club team based out of Greenville called Verdant.

The team will be focused on commitment and camaraderie with a goal of breaking seed at Regionals.

Greenville Ultimate is committed to having a mixed league. In an effort to support our female ultimate players, we are piloting a lady substitute pool for Summer League 2022. Ladies interested in being a sub can register here: https://greenvilleultimate.org/e/ladies-substitution-pool-summer-league-2022. The cost is $10 to be part of the pool. After registration, lady subs and ladies currently rostered on summer league teams will be added to a Group Me where subs can be requested and coordinated.

We are very excited to announce that Possum is hosting an Open Practice Tryout on Saturday, May 7th
from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. For those of you not familiar with the local club ultimate frisbee scene, Possum is Greenville’s mixed club team. We are stoked to get back on the field and play some competitive ultimate this upcoming season!

Possum is looking at filling some roster spots and we want you to come out and show us what you got! So mark your calendars and come join us for a fun-filled day of running, throwing, drills, and scrimmaging. The “Girls Just Wanna Have Fun” women’s ultimate tournament was a blast today (pun intended, thanks to the wind)!!! Women from Asheville, Augusta, and all over the region participated, including our very own beloved PWNies.
