- Mark your calendars! The event runs from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM. Please arrive on time as we'll be setting up in the morning.
- We've got you covered with food and plenty of drinks, plus refreshing snow cones to beat the heat!

Meet Jack and Josh, a fun-loving sibling duo who are eager to find a permanent home where they can thrive! Parental rights have not been terminated.

Jack is a sports enthusiast who loves football, basketball and baseball. He enjoys school history lessons, video games like Call of Duty and cheering for the Lakers.

Josh shares Jack's passion for sports, with a love for football, baseball and soccer. He excels in English, plays trumpet in the school band and enjoys playing guitar and drums. Josh adores cats and is a fan of Sonic the Hedgehog video games.

We had so much fun this past Saturday at the local Oakwood Farmers Market! We appreciate them letting us table here and giving us the wonderful opportunity to get to know more of our community. We were able to spread awareness and provide more information to the specific needs for foster care in the Dayton area.

Big thanks to Conestoga Oral Surgery of Lancaster, PA for teaming up with My Very Own Blanket to donate loads of gorgeous, handmade blankets to our York office for kids in care. Their generosity means the world to us!

Bair Necessities Donation Drive Alert!

Hey everyone! Just a quick heads-up about our upcoming IIHS donation drive happening on August 3rd! Join us in making a difference!

Asheville Bair office will be tabling at an annual Back to School Bash. We will set up a table/tent and have school supplies, popsicles and informational material to hand out. Stop by and say hello!

Where: Madison County Sheriff’s Office, 348 Medical Park Drive, Marshall NC
What: The back-to-school bash event is hosted by the Madison County Sheriff’s Office every summer. It is free to the public. There will be free food, games, school supplies and entertainment.

Recently, our Richmond, VA office joined forces with the VA Beach office for an amazing staff engagement field day. It was a fantastic opportunity for our teams to bond and work together towards our common goals. Here's to more collaborative efforts ahead!

The Bair Foundation Permanency Dept. loved coming together to represent The Bair Foundation and attend the Pennsylvania Statewide Adoption & Permanency Network (SWAN) summer meeting! What a great time to gain new knowledge and skills through training sessions and represent our waiting youth and families at their annual matching event.

In 2023, thousands of guests enjoyed 70+ vendors, two stages with non-stop performances by Appalachian and international cultural artists, free kids' activities and a variety of delicious food options.

Meet York’s new kinship intake coordinator, LaElla.

“Hello! My name is LaElla. I am excited to be with The Bair Foundation. I am new to the foster and adoption field, but I have always had a passion with helping others, especially children and those with special needs. I have worked in a variety of fields: healthcare, retail, casework; but the goal stays the same. I have been welcomed by the awesome team here in York. I could not have asked for better people to support my role!”

Ashlyn is funny, down-to-earth, and a self-proclaimed jack of all trades, excelling in fantasy writing, oil painting, and photography. She also enjoys playing electric guitar and has a passion for heavy metal, as well as folk music. Ashlyn loves giving copious belly rubs to cats, dogs or any animal she encounters. She truly loves animals!

Thank you to ZAHQ Gaming Industries and the Comic Attic for organizing this event. ZAHQ Gaming Industries created their own video game and are dedicated to giving back to the community whenever they can. We also met DUKEScomics.com, a group of local comic artists who are based in Chaparral, NM! We had the opportunity to set up a table to talk about TFC and create comics with the community. Thanks again to ZAHQ Gaming Industries and Comic Attic for having us!

Special thank you to Chester, Lori and The Home Depot for making this beautiful bench for our sweet Anaiya. Chester graciously agreed to help make this memorial bench. In conversation with him, he shared that his family previously fostered and adopted through The Bair Foundation. It’s moments like this when we realize how important community is, and we thank them for their generosity during this difficult time.

Our team had a blast at the Boro Works Festival! Steph Walters and Emily Vavereck brought smiles to kids' faces with our duck game, complete with awesome prizes. Plus, we had the chance to chat with families about the incredible journey of becoming foster parents. Together, we're making a difference!

What advice would you give to someone who is considering becoming a foster parent?

The Las Cruces Bair office had an amazing staff appreciation event, and they had so much fun. A big thank you to Johnice and Perla for organizing it, and to Luna Rossa Winery & Pizzeria for hosting us. We also want to thank our leadership for their continuous efforts to appreciate the staff.
