•Applicants must be a registered 501(c)3
•Applicants must be located in Greenville County, South Carolina
•Applications should address one (or both) of JLG’s Focus Areas: Human Trafficking and Economic Mobility
•The number of awards and individual funding of amounts up to $15,000/grant are subject to the availability of JLG Funds
•Applicants may propose Existing or New Projects
•Applicants are required to provide JLG Member Volunteer Opportunities

It’s not too late to sign up to for our next Mahjong 101 course with Haymahj ! This course will feature an in-depth tutorial of game play with a chance to practice your new skills and play against other JLG members. This course (or previous game knowledge) is also a prerequisite for participating in the mahjong SIG.

Get ready to bloom at JLG Day at Denver Downs Farm's South Carolina Sunflower Festival! Acres of jaw-dropping sunflower varieties, family fun with 30+ attractions, friendly farm animals, yummy eats, and toe-tapping live music!

JLG Day will be held on Saturday, June 29 (rain date Sunday, June 30) from 2-4 PM. Discounted tickets are available to Junior League members! Use code JLSunflowers2024 at checkout. We will have two designated tables under the Pavilion to relax and mingle in addition to the discounted tickets.

Economic mobility is defined as someone's ability to improve their economic status over the course of their lifetime. has been noted as one of the most challenging places in the country for someone born into poverty to climb the economic ladder.

is proud to collaborate with Pendleton Place, The Family Effect, and United Ministries in helping women improve their economic mobility. Pendleton Place serves children and families experiencing foster care, homelessness, poverty, and other forms of trauma. The Family Effect is working to help. United Ministries serves and empowers those on the transformative journey to self-sufficiency.
The Community Enrichment Committee is providing trained and skilled JLG volunteers to support these organizations in their critical work within our community.

Let's shine a light on an incredible organization making a difference in Upstate South Carolina: Family Effect. Their dedicated team works tirelessly to combat addiction, a leading cause of family breakdowns and harm to children in our community. Through fundraising efforts and volunteer recruitment, they support essential, research-based programs at The Phoenix Center of Greenville, providing much-needed assistance to families and children in need. Together, we can raise awareness and support for this vital cause.

The Junior League of Greenville is excited to share the news that our very own Claire Stam, 2023-2024 President, has been selected to the inaugural 40 Under 40 list from The Association of Junior Leagues International (AJLI)! AJLI has 296 Leagues and over 125,000 Members worldwide.

Winners were evaluated based on three criteria:
Empowerment: The nominee, through her work and community involvement, empowers both herself and others.
Leadership: The nominee demonstrates outstanding leadership in her profession or area of service.
Community Impact: The nominee is actively creating a positive impact on her community.

Miss the last Mahjong class? We have one more for you! Learn the basics to your newest obsession... Mahjong!

Students are immersed into the world of Mahjong learning everything from the tiles, to The Card to all of the unique aspects of gameplay including the deal, dancing of the tiles known as The Charleston, and much more. Students will leave this lesson wondering when they’ll get to play again next!

All participants must register and pay through the Swoozie’s Eventbrite (link in bio).

The cost is $65 and you must register by April 30.
