New pipes are in the ground at Mills Mill Village!
Sewer infrastructure rehabilitation work is well underway in Mills Mill Village. MetroConnects celebrated breaking ground on the $13 million grant-funded project in a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony in April. Local officials came together with the community to sign a pipe that will be used to replace the more than 100-year old clay pipes that currently are transporting wastewater throughout the mill village. The signed pipe was placed underground this week, and will now serve the Mills Mill Village community by keeping its wastewater exactly where it is meant to be — out of sight and out of mind!
