Daniel Duckworth, a recent entrant into the world of bike racing and formerly a member of the USA Bobsled team, is set to compete in the 40+ masters with UNC Health Appalachian Cycling Team and will race alongside Brandon Hicks.

As you observe our team in action, note that Turner Trivette rides alongside the youthful contingent. Although an important part of our crew, he has yet to attain the years required to participate alongside our more seasoned members.
We are proud of our baby boy!

Part of the UNC Health Appalachian Cycling team went to Winston-Salem today. New guy on the team Clinton Marsh went from the gun with one other guy. A few attacks later and Brandon Hicks got into a break with a few others and bridged up. Brandon finished 2nd.
Andrew LeBeau and Daniel Duckworth swept up the field sprints.
Now we join the rest of the team in Greenville tomorrow for the Hincapie Spring Series.

We are so excited for our teammate John James who attacked with a kilometer to go and stuck it for the win! Andy sprinted for 3rd and Rodney and Gene finished 6th and 7th at the Hincapie Spring Series. Our man Rodney Dender also got 2nd place in yesterday’s race too. UNC Health Appalachian Cycling Team is off to a solid start at the Hincapie Spring Series even if we don’t have our new kits yet.
