Friday, August 23 may have been a long time coming but God’s perfect timing brought it all together just how it was supposed to happen.

Bryan and Mikeila - you two are SO LOVED by so many and I’m so grateful that I get to be your aunt as well as to have captured so many memories over the years! Thank you for trusting me to capture your wedding day and letting us be a part of your lives. All 4 of us (Uncle Benji, Catherine and Isa) love you to pieces!

This precious grandma of mine is 90 today!!! 90! ✨

The more trips I have around the sun of my own, the more treasured this lady becomes to me.

And I’m even more grateful that she now lives in the same state and that I’ve been able to see her more over the past several months than I’ve been able to my entire life 🥰

AND! We get to celebrate with her today. I’m not sure I’ve ever seen her ON her birthday!

Happy 90th trip around the sun, grandma. I hope you know how much you are loved 💖

My favorite weekend of the year has come and gone and my heart is so very full!

From our freshman Bible study in the basement of Lever Hall to apartments, to weddings, to mountain top highs and some very deep lows, these girls (and the husbands 😁) are my people.

Every year we make it a priority to get away and spend a weekend eating, walking, laughing, crying, playing, eating some more and laughing some more.

And every year it’s worth it 🧡💜

The thing about photos is that they ARE what you have left… when the party is over, when things have been packed away, when time keeps moving on, and especially when loved ones pass away.

I can’t believe today marks 5 years since my brother, Matt, took his last breath. It still seems surreal most days.

We will always love you, brother dear. We will always talk about you, remember your suffocating hugs, your tender heart and your incredible cooking skills.

I know the holidays can be tough and that’s ok! This world is broken and full of sadness and grief.

But God ❤️ He has so much for us. Even in the most difficult days and seasons, He can be your light and your joy!

I’m thankful you’re here. I’m thankful for my people. I’m thankful for a savior whose birth we’re about to celebrate because without him, there is no hope 🤍
