Today Katie is celebrating 3 years with SHLTR Architects!

Katie has been a vital part in building SHLTR’s growing portfolio of veterinarian clinic/animal shelter projects, one of which won an award for the DVM360 2023 Hospital Design Competition! Luckily, this aligns with her love for animals and rescue. Her technical skills and attention to detail also make her a great mentor and we are so glad to have Katie as a part of our team. Excited to finally announce the addition of our newest team member, Tiffany Robson—a seasoned interior designer that brings over 10 years of experience in many commercial divisions: corporate, community, hospitality, industrial, education, and more. She jumped in ready to elevate our interiors to new heights and we are thrilled to have her!

New Year, New Space! Excited to step into 2024 in our newly finished office and share it with you all! We’ve been referring to our new home as The Tree House, and when you see the views you will understand why! Cheers to the many designs that will take root with our customers here.

We are celebrating 2 years with Principal, Kevin Hyslop at SHLTR today!

Kevin may not have realized his official title was Principal Architect & Mr. Fix It for our office full of women, but he takes the position as seriously as he does his grocery bag full of boiled eggs. He is an architectural Renaissance man and works in many divisions such as - corporate, hospitality, medical office buildings, community, and more. Kevin is a phenomenal architect with an amazing eye for design, but it’s his personality that we love most! The laughter that he brings to our office and clients is unmatched.

Thanks for the fun, Kevin. Looking forward to many more years!

October is National Women’s Small Business Month! We are proud to be a certified Woman-Owned business by WBENC that is actively involved in supporting women in the industry. Our office is over 85% female and we are killing it, if we do say so ourselves 💪

One of our founding Principals, Chesley White, is celebrating 7 years with SHLTR Architects today!

Not only does Chesley manage corporate and healthcare projects, she also handles our staffing and business development efforts, and keeps all the plates spinning. We would be a mess without her! Her genuine and supportive leadership style makes her integral to our team and her clients.

It's the end of an era today as we move out of our very first office space and transition into a bigger space just up the road. It's amazing the changes that have taken place and the growth we've seen in Greenville and within our company. Below is a picture of Tara and myself just after signing our lease followed by pictures today of our amazing and talented team we're lucky to get to work with. We're so thankful for the journey thus far, and we can't wait to show off our new space at 2 Bennett Street sometime in mid May! Stay Tuned!

We're so excited for our client Coldwell Banker Caine on their soon to be new office locations in Anderson, SC and Woodruff, SC! These will be two great historic adaptive reuse projects that will bring a lot of life and love to each of these downtowns.
