Favorite Art Department Memory: Taking Professor Bernabe’s ART-111 course my freshmen year, where we had to do a packaging project that created an inside joke with some of my best friends. We still joke about it to this day.

Favorite Art Department Memory: Staying up until 4 am in the graphic design room the morning that my final project for Graphic Design II was due! I got about 3 hours of sleep and then had to present.

Seeing Color: Digital Photography was working with the photography color wheel of red, blue, and green or RGB. Their assignment was to create a triptych that are meditations on one of the RGB colors. The color should be the punctum (the tipping point) of the scene. Great work 206!

Got perspective? This wee our drawings students were learning one-point and two-point perspective. They were outside the studio and inside the library. Where would you find perspective? (Don’t be scared of Professor May he is actually nice)
The drawing and painting classes have finished up their first projects!
After learning about a variety of techniques and lots of introductory lessons these students had their first chance to show off the new skills they learned. We are excited to see how their abilities progress!
