Have you ever explained a task or job to someone and have them respond "A Piece of Cake"? As if to say, "Easy, Peasey." I think I may have done it myself. I will do that no more. I just made a 4 layer Deveils'Food Chocoloate with Semi-Sweet chocolate chips and fudge icing cake with walnut top. It's a job just describing this! For anyone else who has also tried to make a special cake or any other kind of dish, we know it's not just "A Piece of Cake"! This monster took two days and severl steps; more than I originally imagined. It is delicious, by the way. The next time I hear someone say "A Piece of Cake," I'm going to ask them if they have ever tried to make a cake. I now know it's NOT just "Easy Peasey!"

Last week and the Weekwnd were the best ever. Our Grandson Adam Lovelace married his BFF Alexis Rose Handeland on Saturday Aug 10, 2024. Here's just a few pics to prove the deed!

On Friday May 31, 2024 Our Grandson Lucien "Graduated" from Pre-School! He has joined the ranks of the "Big Kids" who go to school. When school starts he will start Kindergarten! He is usually all happy and joking but this was serious to him. He wasn't playing around like some of the other kids. I did manage to get one smile from him.
