Full Job Description
Since 2010 Colosseum Construction has been a remodeling and custom home building contractor and we are looking for a Lead Carpenter to join our dynamic team!

The Lead Carpenter position includes multiple responsibilities and requires a refined skill set. In addition to performing a range of carpentry and construction tasks, our lead carpenters are expected to be able to manage daily site activities, and effectively direct the activities of one or more staff members. You will be working closely with one of our Project Managers to devise a daily plan of attack, coordinate material orders and delivery, help coordinate subcontractor work and ensure job site safety. We pride ourselves on craftsmanship, professionalism and a promise to uphold the highest level of integrity on all of our jobs.

Full Time 40 hrs/week 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, Monday-Friday

The pay rate is DOE.

Qualifications:

A minimum of 4+ years of residential remodeling and/or framing experience

A firm understanding of all phases of construction

Ability to demonstrate a high level of skill

Strong leadership skills

Requirements:

Must have reliable transportation

Must have the ability to read and build from structural and architectural drawings

Must be an excellent problem solver

Must be able to communicate precisely and effectively both internally and with clients

Must have your own hand tools and tool bags

Must be able to delegate tasks appropriately

Must be able to properly use company assets

Must have the ability to utilize their smartphones for two-way communication and the ability to use software systems used by the company to track projects

Must embody and demonstrate company values of high integrity, skill and professionalism

Must have a clean DMV record and a valid driver's license

Remodel Crew Leader - Colosseum Construction is a full service contractor that completes kitchen/bath remodels, roofing and siding. Roof repair experience a plus. Applicant must be able to Complete jobs from 8am-5pm with some later times if needed -Must be presentable -Must have reliable transportation and most of your own tools. -Must be able to pass a background check, Experience: A background in construction and home repair is required. Be prepared to do a little of everything as we don't know what we will be asked to do from our clients from day to day. An ideal candidate is one who can work well with or without supervision and takes pride in their work. This candidate will be responsible for supervising a crew and responsible for completing a job on time and watching budget parameters. You will be compensated according to your experience level. This is for an immediate hire position.
