✨✨Not a goodbye ✨✨ But a change that we have no choice but to make in order to continue to fulfill our purpose. To have to put the message out that we are closing our dining room 3 years after we opened our doors to the public is heartbreaking for us! 💔 We are proud of what we have accomplished and are incredibly grateful for each and every guest who has graced our doors and believed in us. Many of you are regulars and have supported us from the beginning. We see all of you as our friends! Like many restaurants, we have been fighting an uphill battle with rising cost on….everything! Because we opened on a mission to serve healthy, minimally processed food that is GF and allergy friendly our food costs have increased drastically. The solution to combat that and all the other rising costs to operate our concept is to increase our menu prices substantially. The problem is that goes against our mission to “connect people to healthy eating”. If people can’t afford us, they won’t be able to eat with us. We refuse to lower our food standards so at the end of the day, we are bleeding out money. We tried to offset costs by cutting back on labor and limiting our dining hours. That actually bought us some time. But, in order to stay viable we need to move full time into a more sustainable concept to get our food out to the community. Community and collaboration is the heart of who we are so we are moving forward embracing those concepts. We will be offering more classes, dine-in events, space rental for private events, catering, and pop-ups through out the upstate as well as wholesaling our products. Sometimes to become better you have to let go of the good. So our “good”bye is only to a non-sustainable concept. We will greatly miss serving you at our counter.
