This Is It. Women’s Community has organized this August Meetup women’s event that we will be hosting. They have asked Heidi to give a presentation/demo of meal prepping one week’s worth of fresh meals and snacks. She will share delicious ways to use and reuse fresh items and share why they are beneficial to our health.

There is an opportunity to preorder a HK Signature Bowl up to August 14th at 12p to enjoy during the presentation after a refreshing session of yoga.

One of the hardest things about closing the dining room was having to say goodbye to our amazing staff! They are all so special and made our space so enjoyable. Our space was always filled with laughter. Our staff is our family. There is so much we can say about them. They made each customer feel welcome, and created a working environment that made work exciting! Thank you to all of our staff! We love you so much, you rock!

Our vision has always been to be more than just an eatery. We believe in community and collaboration. We have some exciting plans for our future so stay tuned.

We are thrilled to share this news as we have set our kitchen apart in the Upstate as a dedicated certified GF space 💚

Harvest Kitchen has obtained the Gluten-Free Approved certification, which signifies our commitment to providing safe and trustworthy gluten-free products. This certification program, endorsed by the National Celiac Association, ensures that celiac-safe gluten-free food can be prepared in a secure environment. By displaying the GF Approved mark, we aim to assure the gluten-free community that our products meet their dietary needs.

Starting next week, our dining room will be closed on Mondays and Tuesdays in order to ultimately offer more.

As we strive to be transparent in all we do, here is an attempted explanation…

We are proud of what we have created from a concept that was birthed back in 2020. Our family has worked long, hard hours to develop Harvest Kitchen. Our mission has been to connect people to healthy eating through a 100% gluten free, clean-eating restaurant concept that focuses on whole, minimally processed foods. We have always wanted a safe place for those suffering from various food allergies and that remains our vision.

We are a niche concept within a tough industry. Times have gotten tougher, and the near future isn’t looking great with ever-increasing inflation. As a Mom & Pop establishment, we don’t get special cuts on food or product costs as we don’t have the buying power of chains or larger restaurants. This is our best example: when we opened in 2021, the only oil we use (EVOO) was $15 for 3 liters…that has climbed to $30. That is just one ingredient and doesn’t include the many other products and services that have increased due to inflation. With our mission to connect people to healthy eating in our area, we have not wanted to outprice ourselves on our menu. We are counter service and as many people see that as fast food, it is expected to only pay so much for a meal. Since we use quality and allergy friendly ingredients, many of them are more expensive as we are committed to not go to “cheaper” less quality ingredients to lower our costs. We have gone up $1 on our bowls in almost 3 years. Obviously, this doesn’t financially add up.
