I have ordered cocoa butter by the 23 lb box from the same company for over a decade. The price has crept up slowly but not alarmingly so. I orderd it in March of this year and paid $181.00 for the 23 lb box. Today when I went to reorder, the price was $375.00. Needless to say I may need to start reworking any recipes that use cocoa butter.

You can google multiple explanations as to why cocoa beans are in such short supply right now and you may see the price of chocolate go up accordingly. I will not be raising my prices this year but I will have to cut back on my use of cocoa butter until the price becomes more affordable.

I may be using shea butter as a substitute but I know that I have customers who are allergic to shea so I will make every effort to alert people when I make those changes. If in doubt, please ask.

Soap Spotlight - Charcoal Facial

Activated charcoal scented with tea tree oil and enhanced with mango butter. Use daily or a couple of times a week as your skin desires. This is both a body soap and a facial soap.
