OUTAGE: Greer CPW is aware and responding to an outage in the northern part of our service territory. We are working to restore power as soon as possible and the cause of the outage was weather related.

Did you know? So far this month, Greer experienced 13 days of 90 degrees and above. With our new Customer Service Portal and advanced metering, you can keep track of your daily usage which helps customers understand how usage impacts their bill.

Spartanburg County Emergency Management has announced cooling stations in their area. Check out the locations and more tips below.

Starting tomorrow Cooling Stations will open up across the County. A quick thank you to the following entities for making this possible:

Make sure your phone number is up to date! Occasionally we need to call customers for boil water advisories, planned power outages or gas leaks. Please log into your Customer Service Portal and choose the “notification” tab. This number must be able to answer calls and cannot be to a dial by directory.

UPDATE: 8:30 AM We were able to fix the issue. It may take a few minutes up to an hour for the website to function normally again.

⚠️ We are aware and working on website issues that impact customers logging into their Customer Service Portal. We hope to have the issue addressed shortly. You can still pay your bill over the phone, in person, using CheckOut or our kiosks.

UPDATE: As of 8:50 pm on 6/28, the system is back up and customers should be able to log into the Customer Service Portal and make payments.

Online payments and access to the Customer Service Portal will be temporarily disabled on Friday, June 28 starting at 6 pm due to system maintenance. While we anticipate the work lasting no more than 2 hours, the system may be down intermittently until midnight. No utility payments including over the phone or auto draft will be processed during this time.

The boil water advisory issued for Greer CPW customers is lifted. Water samples confirmed the water is safe to use. We will be notifying customers using our automated phone system, Greer CPW website, social media and traditional media.

Greer CPW is closely monitoring the incoming rain for late Monday, January 8 through Tuesday, January 9. Now is a good time if you live lakeside on either lake to secure items on your dock and leave slack in your dock lines to allow for changes in lake levels.

⚠️Make sure to stay weather aware Tuesday, January 9th. This incoming storm has the potential to cause flooding on roadways and trees to fall on powerlines due to saturated grounds.

⚠️Now is a good time to prepare your home and lawn by securing any items that could blow away and to clean out gutters/storm drains.
