Dinner at Lucky D’s in Gresham!

Wanted to share with everyone in the Gresham, Oregon area or close by. Dees now has a new face outside and inside. Food and service is really excellent. Sports Bar up front with 8 TVs. Horseshoe Bar as you first walk in. Great comfortable booths and great atmosphere. In the back is their bar and Slot Machines. Also outdoor back covered patio. Worth the try to enjoy 70 years of serving Gresham.

I have the prime week booked with Dave Duncan And Sons Outfitters this coming July 6th to 13th. Fresh from the Ocean, Kings, Chum and sockeye salmon along with Rainbow Trout. Only a few spots left. Starting at left, Joe Butler, Del Canty, myself and Dean Lampton, owner of the Bar Z X Ranch in Colorado. I recently found out that around Halloween time Dean passed away. What a great man Dean was and knew how to raise monster trout in his 27 natural spring fed lakes. The most beautiful place I have ever fished.

No outside eating at McDonalds in Leavenworth, Wa. 18” on the table and he told us he cleared it off 3 times earlier.

What a great company and family. This was back in 1985 when I had dark hair and lots of it. We all should be very proud of our leading companies located on the West Coast that have done so much for the Fishing Industry.

We lost a great man a couple of days ago. Dave Whitlock loved our fisheries and did so much for the sport of Fly Fishing. He will truly be missed by many and respected by all. RIP
