Louisiana’s Youth Mental Health: Coping Through Covid - Well Beings What is the new “normal” after a world-wide health pandemic? What do parents and teachers need to know to best support the mental health of young people post-COVID?
Psychotherapy after the pandemic will likely be a hybrid — part office, part telemedicine And jobs will be plentiful. Digital mental health already is a multibillion-dollar industry and includes more than 10,000 apps, though many are untested.
******Update******
Although we are down now (damage and no electricity), we will recover together.
Our offices will be closed until further notice. We will notify all when we are able to resume telehealth services. Until then, everyone stay safe.
Hello Cognitive Solutions Family,
Over the last year, we have worked diligently to provide the services needed by our community through the demands of a pandemic. We are grateful that so many of you have trusted us with your mental health care.
During the pandemic, a weird thing happened. As we worked via telehealth to serve our community, our “community” expanded. We began offering services to people all over the state of Louisiana. We had the opportunity to work with clients from rural communities that lacked access and from larger cities that just wanted a bit more anonymity. Either way, we were there to help!
This experience has shifted the way that we see counseling. As a team, we have decided to continue growing our reach. As such, we will be transitioning to an exclusively telehealth practice. As we continue providing telehealth, we will also be expanding to neighboring states. We appreciate the feedback from our clients that assisted us in making this difficult decision and we hope that by do so, we can continue helping the world to be a better place, one client/family at a time.
The only thing constant in this world is change. We are holding on to this motto and preparing for our own change. The Cognitive Solutions team will be sharing new offerings soon. We look forward to sharing our new direction shortly!

This is a supply and demand issue for sure!
‘Nobody Has Openings’: Mental Health Providers Struggle to Meet Demand With anxiety and depression on the rise during the pandemic, it has been challenging for people to get the help they need.
Love has been a topic in therapy for many, especially lately. It’s always interesting to help people unfold their ideas and expectations around the idea of love or being in love. It’s such a blessing to be able to peek into the heart of so many and see the purity in how people love.
I have learned that there is no magic trick to falling in love. There is no time frame that dictates if one can love. It is the connectedness of something bigger than the human being. It falls deeper than the human mind can conceive... it is something understood by the soul and reflected in the spirit. Love is everything unexpected and unexplainable. It is my hope that everyone finds and have some form of love in their life. It is the beauty of our existence...
Here’s to having a life of love! ❤️ 🥂

Rest and recovery is a way for the mind and body to heal, repair, and renew.
2020 has been a difficult year for many. I don’t know about you, but we have been working longer hours and more days of the week. Now, we aren’t complaining. We are thankful that so many trust us to help them on their road to wellness and positive mental health. However, we recognize that it is time for us to do some RRR (rest, recovery, and reflection).
As such, the Cognitive Solutions office will be closed from December 21, 2020 to January 4, 2021.
We look forward to seeing you when we return (1/4/2021)!!!!!

You wanted it, you put work into it, and it fell apart! 😞Falling apart often feels like failure at first, until you see what you wanted and worked for wasn’t for you👌🏾
