Finished the Feature in 5th tonight.

Finished 3rd in the Heat. Redrew 7th and will start 4th row Inside.

Brandon won't be racing tonight, But Brian and Scott will be in the Cruiser tonight. Kids wearing a Costume will get in free to the Grandstand Side.

Drivers remember your candy to hand out to the kids on the front stretch from 5-5:30pm.

Started the feature in 5th place and end in 5th. Car handled better than the driver. Overall it was a great night of racing.

Tonight I will be in Heat #2 Starting front row outside. Cars running good its going to be a good night of racing.

It is race weekend!! Last weekend I’ll be out since final Dallas County race is a drill weekend!

Ended the night not finishing the race. Lost brakes half way through, come to find out I cut a brake line on the driver front. Will get it back together and ready for the 30th.

Heat race went good finished 4th. I'll be starting the feature in 7th.

It's race night! I'll be starting in 3rd pos in the 1st heat. Car is handling great. Should be a good night.

Finish the Feature in 7th place. Finally got the car handling right and felt good to wheel it.

For the season I tied for 5th place. Ran 8 races there with 3 top 5 finishes and 4 top 10 finishes. For my second year in a Hobby Stock I am very happy with the results of this year. Thanks to everyone that came out to watch over the season.

Final race for me tonight in Indianola. It's points championship night hopefully I can keep myself in 5th and finish the year off in the top 5. Starting in 5th in the 2nd heat.

Got the frame all straighten out last night. Now getting the car all aligned back up tonight and ready to race tomorrow night. Still have work to do, but I'll get it in tip top shape to go run some laps.

What a crazy and fast past night. We ran back to back races, we fought with keeping the car cool not having time between races. We both didn't end up finishing the features but it was good to get that car back out on the track. Ended up running 5 race and hot laps with it, definitely putting it thru the ringer for the first time out in 4 years. Have some work yet to make it handle and not bounce in the turns.

Now that the races are over and I've got time to post this. Special thanks to Brandon Willemsen and Willemsen Racing for putting this ole girl back together this week so we could go racing as both a Hobby Stock for him and cruiser for him and I. Didn't quite go the way we hoped but it was good to get back in the car. On that note I payed alittle tribute to my Best friend Chad Lemon on the car . This ole girl still handles like a dream. Photos from over the years when Solomon Bennett used to race it as a Hobby Stock 11b, then Chad Lemon had 35L, then Brian Willemsen and I turned it into a cruiser car 84 and have been fighting it ever since. Then tonight it was 89W.

It's race time! Brandon and scott will be starting in back row outside. Brandon in Hobby stock is in 3rd heat 2nd row inside.

Got this hotrod ready to hit the track and make some laps, im hoping we got all the issues worked out and able to put on a good show. See everyone tomorrow night in in Adel for the races. Brandon Willemsen and Scott Willemsen will be running it as a cruiser and Brandon as a hobby as well.

After working on the car Monday realized things were worse than I thought. Ended up being that i bent the frame. Decided since I can't control the car the way it's going to sit and wait till it goes to the frame shop to get straighten back out. So over the last couple nights dug out the brothers cruiser car and have been working hard to get it up and running. So far it's looking like we will make it out Saturday night for the race in Adel. Have alot to do and check yet with the car to be able to run it as a hobby.

Heat race started out great lead the first 3 laps, then the car started to push again, will be starting the feature in 7 pos.

It's race night! I will be starting out in Heat 1 in 2nd pos. Ready to get out there and sling some dirt.

Ended the night not finishing the race in 10th place. Car was working great, went on the low side to pass a car and got the tire instead. Will regroup and get the car back together this weekend.
