Finally, after 16 days we are ready to reopen tonight July 12!

Hope everyone is recovering from your own flooding and back up issues!
We have make great progress toward reopening. We lost our phone and Point of Sale systems. Like everything now it seems to take forever to get replacement parts and or new equipment. Point of Sale is up and running. Phone system will be installed on Friday assuming all goes as planned.
At this point we are planning on reopening on Monday July 12th.
Our lower level is going to require a complete demolition and rebuild.
Between COVID, mandated closures and capacity restrictions it has been a difficult 18 months for so many businesses. Now one week after all restrictions are lifted we get destroyed by water.
We will get through this and look forward to seeing you again.

I knew I would forget someone! Steve’s son Cameron joined the crew as well! Thank you Cameron! Great job!

I know many of you have been affected by Friday and early Saturday rain and subsequent flooding and sewer backups. My deepest sympathy and best wishes on your clean up. City Kitchen experienced the same problem. We had 6 feet of water in our lower level. We had a remediation company in first thing Saturday morning to start the clean up and restoration. Major work ahead of us. All the drywall, carpet, etc has been removed from the lower level. Things are moving quickly. Adam’s Restoration has been fantastic. I also want to thank all the employees who came to to assist with the clean up. From the dining room staff…Jen, Nicole, Steve, Aidan, Mason, Joseph, Grace and Evan. Jen even recruited her son Brendan. Thank you Brendan. Our kitchen staff… Chef Tom, John, Robin, Shawna and Keith. And finally to our do it all guy…Steve. I will never be able to thank them enough! They are truly amazing people!

And finally, I want to thank my family for all the support they have given me! I’m dealing with CK while they dealing with the flood at our house!

Hope everyone is well! Looks like we are going to have a beautiful few weeks of perfect weather. We have removed the igloos. The patio is open and of course if it gets a little chilly later in the evening we have patio heaters to keep you warm.

Hope everyone is well! We have finally reopened after 10 long weeks for indoor dining.

Our Igloos have become very popular. Amazing as it might seem, the temperature inside the igloos is pushing 70 degrees even during this recent cold spell!

Our dining domes are up and running. Heaters work well! Not summer like but very comfortable! We do have time limits due to the fact that we only have space to accommodate 5 domes. 1 1/2 hours for parties of 2-4 and 2 hours for parties of 5-6.

Due to the fact that we will only be able to open at 50% capacity we have made changes to our operating hours.

As of now we will not be open for lunch service. We will open Monday - Friday at 4:00, Saturday at 5:00 and Sunday at 4:00.

Carry out service will now be available 7 days a week starting at 4:00. Due to limited seating in the bar we will not offer happy hour pricing until we are permitted to open at full capacity.

Tomorrow June 8, 2020 we will be re-opening for sit-down dining at 4:00 pm. We will also continue our carry out service.

As required by executive order we will only be opening at 50% capacity with a minimum of 6 feet spacing between all tables.

Yesterday, the entire restaurants was disinfected and sanitized by a company that specializes in that service. We are following all guidelines mandated by the Center for Disease Control as well as the executive orders issued by the Governor. We promise you a clean and sanitized facility at all times. All tables and chairs will be fully disinfected between each seating.

Masks are required for entry and exit for all customers. Employees will wear masks and gloves at all times.

I want to provide an update to our days of operation.

Starting tomorrow we will be closed on Monday’s and Tuesday’s. For the most part we are running with a four person staff. They need some time off! Additionally, our suppliers have reduced inventory as well as delivery days. I don’t want to order fresh product on Friday to carry us through Tuesday. That is an other factor in our decision to close those two days. We will be able to get Wednesday and Friday deliveries which will provide top quality and fresh product.

I want to start by saying thank you to all who utilized our carry out service this past week and hope you enjoyed everything.

Tomorrow Monday March 23 the restaurant will be closed. Our limited staff needs a day off! Also, like many items there is a shortage of carry-out containers. We have a shipment expected Tuesday morning along with a fresh shipment of fish, beef, seafood and produce.

We will perform our daily full building sanitation and be ready to resume carry out operations on Tuesday.
