Congratulations to Darrell Thompson on achieving four million consecutive safe driving miles! Darrell is the fourth driver in our company’s history to reach this major milestone – the equivalent of safely driving to the moon and back eight times.
Last week, we celebrated Darrell at his home service center in Indianapolis, Indiana alongside his family, colleagues and company leaders. He received the keys to a brand-new tractor customized with his name and safety record, along with other awards in recognition of his nearly four decades of safe driving. XPO’s three other four million milers – in town for the National Truck Driving Championships – also joined the celebration.
When it comes to safety, Darrell says it’s about “paying attention to the small details.” That’s a great insight from one of the industry’s best. Congratulations, Darrell, and thank you for serving our customers and keeping our communities safe.
