Dr. Deborah Stamps’ is the founder and chief executive officer for Deborah Stamps Consulting, LLC. Dr. Stamps has over 30 years of progressive healthcare leadership and is an internationally recognized authority on workforce development, diversity, equity, inclusion, justice, nursing education, and leadership. She has held a variety of roles, from LPN, RN, Chief Nursing Officer, Vice President or Quality, Patient Safety and Innovation including founding
President of the Rochester General College of Health Careers and the inaugural Chief Diversity Officer at Rochester Regional Health. In 2021 Dr. Stamps was named among 50 of the nation’s most influential diversity leaders receiving the prestigious Leadership Excellence Award at the 2021 National Diversity and Leadership Conference. As a speaker and trainer, she uses her expertise and influence to deliver engaging training to teams and individuals. Dr. Stamps is the co-lead for the NYS Action Coalition and chairs the DEI committee. She is a member of the AARP’s Historically Black College and University’s Learning Collaborative for Diversifying the Nursing Workforce. She is a life member of the National Council of Negro Women, the National Black Nurses Association, and Chi Eta Phi Sorority, Inc.
