Oyster Bay Baptist Church

This is just a friendly reminder that we will not have any midweek church activities tonight (Wednesday, January 17th). We hope to see everyone Sunday morning in Bible study at 9:45am and worship at 11:00am. We will have our deacon elections at the beginning of our worship service.

We have decided to play it safe and cancel our midweek activities due to the forecasted extremely cold temperatures. There are a lot of "moving parts" to those activities that make deciding later a more difficult decision. We hope everyone stays safe and warm!

The Women's Bible Study "How Much More" that was scheduled to begin tomorrow, January 12th, has been postponed until next week due to the forecast for inclement weather.

Join us for supper at 5:45pm. We will have Prayer Meeting, Children in Action, and Mission Friends at 6:30pm. Reverb Students will join the adults to listen to Evan Elliott speak. Business Meeting will follow. Choir practice resumes after Business Meeting.

We are back to our regular schedule tonight! 5:45pm--Pizza, salad & dessert for supper ($5 per person, $15 max per family). 6:30pm--Prayer Meeting, Reverb Worship, Children in Action, Mission Friends. There will be no choir practice this evening.

Tomorrow we will begin our Christmas sermon series. The first message will be about hope. Join us for Bible study for all ages at 9:45am followed by morning worship at 11:00am.

TURKEY TAKEOUT DELIVERY DAY saw many OBBC members volunteering in preparing, packing and delivering complete Thansgiving meals and bags of groceries for 120 families in Gulf Shores, Orange Beach and Bon Secour. A special thanks to Bro. Josh, Brandi and Jeanette for their leadership of Packing, Preperation and Registration Teams today.
