Today, members from the CRTC completed a Pink Out 1-mile walk/run to help raise awareness for breast cancer. Members also made donations to the American Cancer Society of Mississippi. 💗

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, an annual worldwide campaign to promote regular screening and early detection of breast cancer.
According to the National Breast Cancer Foundation https://www.nationalbreastcancer.org/breast-cancer-facts/ , one in eight women will develop breast cancer in their lifetime. It is the most common cancer among American women.
In 2023, an estimated 297,790 women and 2,800 men will be diagnosed with invasive breast cancer. Chances are, you know at least one person who has been personally affected by breast cancer.
Early detection is key to battling breast cancer, surviving, and thriving after the disease.
