we purchased washable covers for our couch so our big dog could watch the ballgames with Robert. Our new little dog has taken over and chased our big dog off.

Growing up, which pattern do you remember?

Jack and Jeannie Beattie opened their shop Jack Beattie's House of Carpet in Gulfport in December 1970. Jack was a natural in all that he did, and Jeannie loves color and design, so they decided to make the coast homes and businesses more beautiful.

Their love for the Coast has been evident from the beginning as they entered each project with the desire to, not just sell a product, but to assume ownership of the project and have the customer and their home become a real part of their lives.

Jeannie’s goal is to create a space for clients to create special memories that will last a lifetime – a space to live and to love.

A legacy business, Jeannie and her son Jeff are doing projects for some of the same people she started with in the ‘70s and doing projects for the children of the first customers.

For over 50 years, Jack Beattie’s House of Carpet has offered high-quality, top-brand flooring of all types, window treatments and wall coverings, but believes service is their best product.
