SALSA RIVERA private lessons are starting June 4th, 2023. If you’re interested in Salsa Lessons you’ve got to take private lessons with me. My lessons are fun and full of challenges at every level.
I’ll have you dancing the basic steps by the end of your first class and dancing them as fluidly as possible.
Classes are available Sunday through Friday from 12 pm to 8 pm. Sunday lessons end at 6 pm. Lessons are $60 per hour whether single or with a partner. I do offer package deals starting with a 2 package deal for $100.00. You can choose whatever day or time is convenient for you. You may also change the day and time for your convenience.

Dearest Salsa Friends,
I’m writing this to inform you all that I am longer going to be at the Salsa Thursday event. I’ve passed the baton onto someone else. I regret to say I would have been there until the end of the month but due to irreconcilable differences and circumstances that arose that were out of my control I pushed up my departure to this past Thursday.
I will miss you all greatly because you have always supported me through the good times and bad times.

Unfortunately the new instructor has eliminated the street salsa venue and replaced it with Simone and Maria of Dancin Motion syllabus. I couldn’t stand by and watch what I built destroyed by a strict syllabus that I avoided for the 14 years I’ve been teaching there. After almost a year with the new instructor I wasn’t able to teach, first of all because of health reasons and secondly the new instructor never included me in anything that he was going to teach that night. Instead he used others to demonstrate the moves or patterns of the night. Had I known that this would happen I would have chosen someone else to pass the baton to. So I decided I was going to depart while I still had my pride and dignity.

I’m truly going to miss you all and I’m truly sorry I passed the baton to someone that would change what I built up to just another Tampa school of dance with a strict syllabus which has taken all the fun out of the learning process and the dance.

Farewell my friends and I’m truly sorry I made the wrong decision in my replacement. I love you all and will miss you greatly. Thank you all for always being there for me.
