It's National Science Fiction Day! Join us for a Sci-Fi storytime in the Science Room at 11:30am & 3:30pm!

Happy New Year’s Eve!! We may have dropped the ball yesterday but the museum is open 12pm to 5pm today. We are closed tomorrow so bring the kids and PLAY! Happy New Year!!

Thanks to all that attended our annual Countdown to Noon - 2024 event!! We had a great time making celebration play dough, fireworks rings, noisemakers, singing karaoke, playing bingo until we counted down to Noon!! It was fun watching the ball drop and all of the balloons and confetti! We wish you happy and healthy 2024!!! 🎉🎉

Spark Learning with a holiday sink or float experiment. Join us in the Science Room at 2pm and see what our holiday items do when we drop them in water.

Who is ready to see the ball drop? Make plans to attend Countdown to Noon from 10am to 12pm tomorrow (Saturday, December 30)! Join us for a New Year's Celebration! We will have lots going on – music, snacks, New Year’s crafts, falling confetti, and a ball drop at noon. All of this will be included with museum admission.

Announcing our Wings Performing Arts of the Lynn Meadows Discovery Center 2024- 2025 Season!!

As a little Christmas surprise for our students and audiences, we’re pleased to announce our 2024-2025 Season!

Still plenty more to come in our current season including Shrek Jr in March 2024, Finding Nemo Jr in April 2024 and the regional premiere of the Pulitzer Prize nominated drama On Sugarland in August 2024.

And of course you won’t want to miss our summer camps! There’s always something happening at Wings Performing Arts!

It was all about gingerbread during our Winter Break Day Camp today! 🎄 STEM activities included building a gingerbread house and creating life size gingerbread people!!
