Sometimes I’ll come up with an idea that I think is good, until I do it and then it fails
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
This was one of them, I thought it would be super cute to have a box of “chocolates” to sell at a pop up, fun idea right? Well it was until I had to explain to just about EVERYONE that it wasn’t actually chocolates, the icing was not chocolate icing it was just brown colored Royal icing, and they were in fact regular sugar cookies
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
So this good idea ended up being more trouble than it was worth, and only about two of these boxes actually sold 😂

My whole life I dreamed of being a baker, but I never thought that would ever be possible.

So yesterday to have reached a point with Cookies by Em where I dedicated an entire branding photoshoot to push my business even further and help me reach new goals, really proved to me just how far I’ve come.

Not only that but the entire day I got to be surrounded by some incredibly amazing people who have given me endless love and support. I truly don’t know where I’d be without them.

There are so many highs and lows to running your own business, just a few months ago I questioned if I could even continue Cookies by Em. But yesterday reaffirmed to me that I am doing exactly what I was meant to do, and for that I couldn’t be more grateful
