Food Truck night is at the Hutchins Athletic Field on Wednesday July 31st.

Music by the Lake is July 28th 4-6pm at Lake Park, Gurnee. Enter the park off Streamwood Ct, Traer Ter, or Grandwood Dr.

Featuring The Acoustic Generation, the Midwest's premier acoustic duo. We are a male/female duo that plays rock, pop and country songs that everybody knows and loves, and we always encourage requests.

Food by: Tievoli Pizza Bar and Tropic Chill

The Lake County Emergency Management Agency is very concerned about the storms that are expected to move through the area tonight. There is the potential for destructive winds, a derecho, tornadoes, and rain falling at 1-2 inches per hour. This is shaping up to not be your average storm.

The Emergency Management Agency will be monitoring diligently and coordinating with our partners throughout the night. We encourage everyone to keep an eye on the weather and have multiple ways to receive weather alerts. There’s a good chance of watches and/or warnings being issued for Lake County tonight. We know there’s some confusion with those terms, so think of tacos:

I need backup

We are still very low on food at the moment. Currently we are out of pancake mix, maple syrup, large bottles of non-refrigerated juice and boxed skillet dinner / Hamburger Helper. We are currently low on canned tuna, canned soups, canned fruit, cereal and jelly. We are open Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:00pm for donations. Thank you!
