Here’s one of my favorites from Kaden’s senior photo session. We had to get a few pics of him with his proud mom Leah Andersen!

What a perfect afternoon for senior photos! Kaden goes to my old high school, Warren Township in Gurnee. His mom is none other than Leah Andersen of 95 WIIL Rock! I will share a few pics from our session soon!

The Happy Witch

Besides the lovely foliage, what I really like about this particular image is how it shows the difference in color between White Ash and Green Ash trees.

White Ash (Fraxinus americana) is one of the more striking trees this time of year. The “autumn purple” variety features a stunning combination of gold, red, orange, crimson and purple in autumn.

The Green Ash (Fraxinus pennsylvanica) puts on a showy display of only yellow tones in fall. You can see them in the distance in this image.

Here is one of my favorites from our engagement session with Alexis and Josh in Kankakee county. Ya can’t beat a split-silo silhouette!

I just wrapped up today’s iPhone photography workshop in Door County. I am so glad that there was some fall foliage for my group to capture. Here is one of my favorite shots of the day. Articipation.

You don’t always need a forest of majestic trees to enjoy fall color. These hydrangeas in our garden are putting on a small but colorful show!
