Last night, our 2024 Shooting Stars Travel Basketball Season Celebration was a fantastic night of competition, community, and fun for our 7 teams. We are proud of how these players shined Christ to the community this season through basketball. It is an honor to call each of you a "Shooting Star".

We have had some pretty amazing campers join us this summer for basketball, soccer, volleyball, and pickleball camps! There are still a couple weeks of camp left, and it is not too late to join us!

THIS happened today! Our icSports Shooting Stars 17U Girls Travel Team (Red) earned their first basketball tournament championship of the season. It is such a joy to watch them play. Congratulations!

icSports Camps continued this week with Volleyball Camps and Pickleball Camp. The Bible verse of the week: Psalm 145:18a. The Lord is close to all who call on Him. Next week, we take a break to enjoy time with friends and family celebrating Independence Day. We look forward to more fun during the week of July 8 with Basketball Camps for Grades 1-2 and Grades 3-4. Come join us!

THIS happened on Saturday! Our icSports Shooting Stars 7th/8th Grade Boys Travel Team (Gray) earned their first basketball tournament championship of the season. We are so proud of them and the way they played. They truly understand what it means to shine for Jesus as they play the game. Congratulations!

icSports Camps continued this week with Basketball Camp for Grades 1-2 and Soccer Camp. In Soccer Camp, it was so much fun to see the campers win in the campers vs coaches challenge. In Basketball Camp, the campers had many 'smile' moments while enjoying great competition and instruction. The theme for camp huddle time was Underdog (Bible verse of the week: 2 Corinthians 12:10b). We look forward to more fun next week with Volleyball Camps and Pickleball Mini-League/Camp. Come join us!

icSports Basketball Camp for Grades 3-4 kicked off our summer with great competition, fundamental skill development and lots of fun! The theme for camp huddle time was Buzzer Be**er (stories in the Bible where someone came through in the last moment). Enjoy some special moments from the week. We look forward to more fun next week with Basketball Camps for Grades 1-2 and 5-6 along with Soccer Camp for Grades 3-4. Come join us!

What an exciting ending to our 2024 Onward Volleyball Season! We are still talking about the great action that we saw. The volleys were incredible and game play was so competitive and fun to watch. Clearly everyone got better throughout the season. Congratulations to the Heather Red Team, taking home the first place medal. Navy team battled hard and went home with second place in the championship set. Remember: You don't have to wait a full season to play again...come join us for camp!

Thank you to and Allstate volunteers Chris and Dawna Koterman for helping communities thrive by volunteering with icSports. We appreciate Chris and Dawna’s servant hearts and the countless hours they pour into serving God and their community through IcSports. We also appreciate Allstate's generosity of a $1000 Helping Hands Grant in recognition of the Kotermans’ service. We look forward to many more years of serving with them.

What an exciting ending to our 2024 Forward Volleyball Season! We saw great tournament action and volleys that kept the crowd on the edge of their seats. Congratulations to the Blackberry Team as they closely battled the Antique Sapphire Team in the championship set. Friday nights were a blast thanks to all of our teams and their friends and family who cheered them on throughout the season. Until next season...

Presenting our 2024 Onward Volleyball Teams. These 12 teams have worked hard all season and have been enjoying weekly league-play competition, skill development and a huddle time discussion featuring lessons learned from Bible characters on the theme: "Blocked". Next week, teams will be ending their season with a big tournament, and the excitement is already beginning. Yesterday was team picture day. Enjoy the team photos!

5th/6th Grade Upward Boys was a new Division for icSports Travel Basketball, Shooting Stars. We were excited to see this age group try travel basketball for the first time and they did exactly as we had hoped - shined bright in the community and stood out as an example of how to play with Christ at the center. They enjoyed the thrill of wins, the frustrating losses and nail-biter finishes, all while learning a ton and having fun doing it! They also enjoyed their huddle time devotions, challenging them to continue developing Christlike character traits in basketball and life. Boys - you were not only Shooting Stars, you were shining stars!

It is so much fun hanging out with our High-Schoolers on Friday nights playing volleyball. Today was picture day for our 2024 Forward Volleyball Teams. Their smiles say it all! We are seeing some great volleyball league-play competition, sportsmanship and a lot of fun and laughter along the way. The gym is loud with encouragement and cheers! We are also enjoying huddle time where we are focusing on "people in the Bible who were blocked." Enjoy the team pictures!

March is known to be tournament time...including the icSports Advanced Pickleball League. Thank you to all teams for a great winter season. A great season calls for a great tournament ending and we enjoyed that drama at Brick House Pickleball. Congratulations Team Coral Silk on the win in the championship over Team Mint Green. These players memorized 3 Bible verses that we studied as part of our weekly practice huddle time on the topic 'adversity'. Way to go players! This is an awesome achievement and we are proud to feature each of you!

March Madness is now finished, and Immanuel Gym is hushed for the moment. On Saturday, March 16, we experienced all of the craze that comes with a tournament including exciting games and upsets. Anything can happen in a tournament - which is why this time of year is called March Madness! Congratulations to all teams on a great season. Our Forward Girls Division tournament winner was Cobalt Blue Jays with Electric Green coming in second. In the Forward Boys Division, the first place medal went to the Moncada Crusaders and second went to the Red Tornado Hypersharks.

The 2024 Winter Season Pickleball Tournament for the Beginner/Casual Division is now complete. Team Black and Team Violet battled in the tournament championship game. Congratulations to Team Black for bringing home the jar of pickles and the medals! Thank you again to everyone who participated in this division (see team pictures). Wow! What an exciting ending to the Onward Basketball (Grades 7-8) season. We enjoyed some great Tournament games. Congratulations to all of our teams for a great season. Shout-out to our tournament team winners: Heliconia Hummingbirds (Onward Girls) and Moncada Orange Men (Onward Boys).

The annual Forward (High School) Basketball 3v3 Tournament was so much fun! Check out our tournament winners, runner-ups, half court shot and knock-out winners. We also had 2 very happy players go home with the raffle prize which was a brand new Wilson Evolution basketball!

Upward Basketball Awards Day 2024 was a blast for our 1st through 6th Grade Divisions. We enjoyed Dennis Christie's illusions and celebrated a great season. Enjoy some of the moments captured from the day.

Congratulations to all Upward Basketball 5/6 Grade Division teams on a great season and exciting tournament. We had some nail-biting tournament wins to get to the championship games, including an overtime win. Congratulations to our 2023-24 Season Tournament Champions! The girls champions were the OSU Buckeyes, closely defeating the LSU Tigers. On the boys side, the Bucks won a thriller over the Spurs. Way to go teams!

Congratulations to our 2023 OnFire Men’s Basketball Champions - Charcoal! They were a tough, physical team that made big plays in a tight championship game against Mint. It was a great season, and we can’t wait for next year!

The 2023 Summer Season Pickleball Tournament for the Intermediate/Competitive Division is now complete and we have crowned a division champion. Team Kiwi, Team Heather Sapphire and Team Lilac put on quite a show to wrap up the tournament. We had great competition and so much fun! Congratulations to Lilac for bringing home the jar of pickles and the medals! Thank you again to everyone who participated in this division and we look forward to seeing you all again in the Winter Season.

Our 2023 Summer Pickleball League Tournament is underway for both of our divisions: Beginner/Casual and Intermediate/Competitive. We were not yet able to crown a champion in either division due to darkness. We had such fun, competitive games that ran longer than we expected. So.....To Be Continued! In the mean time, since it was picture day, enjoy meeting our league participants.
