Mrs. Warner’s class had a blast with their Shark Tank activity! Students researched inventors like the Wright brothers, George Washington Carver, Alexander Graham Bell, and Thomas Edison and found out how life changed in America at the turn of the century due to these individuals' inventions. Students then picked one invention to create and pitched their inventions to a panel of “sharks.” This project combined reading, writing, speaking, and Social Studies standards!

Today, we honor and remember the lives lost on September 11th, now known as Patriot Day. We reflect on the courage, resilience, and unity shown on that day and the days that followed. As we teach our students about the importance of compassion, strength, and standing together, let us all be inspired to carry these values forward.
