SUMMER GAMES FINALE 👏🏼🔥🙌🏼

It all comes down to this! The night is our finale to the summer games, and we are ending with one EPIC relay race! Come ready to compete tonight, it’s about to get real 💪🏼

The weather looks okay at 7pm, so we’re going to try to stay outside. Wear good shoes to run in and clothes that could potentially get a little messy!

We also have our awards ceremony tonight 🏆 the winning team will get a prize, but there will also be some individual awards based off of the whole month of July 👀

The competition is pretty tight, it’s still anyone’s game. So come tonight in your team colors ❤️💙💚💛 go hard in the relay, and don’t forget your Bibles, notebooks, and STL offerings. That could be all the difference for the champion team!!

The weather doesn’t look good, so we’ll probably be inside tomorrow night, but the games will still be epic! See you then fam 🫶🏼

WATER GAMES TONIGHT 💦 🙌🏼

We’re continuing our epic Refuge Summer Games tonight! Here’s what you need to know about tonight:

• wear your team colors, and wear something that can get wet and messy!
• bring a towel
• don’t forget your bibles, notebooks, and STL offering
• it’s going to be hot today 🥵 we’ll have water to drink but you may want to bring your own too
• invite a friend 👍🏼
• hangout time starts at 6:45, come early

Team USA night was epic 🙌🏼

We kicked off our Refuge Summer Games last night with intense competition including making the team names and banners, Wiffleball, Volleyball, and the hot dog eating contest 🌭 🤢 and we ended the night with apple pie and fireworks, because America 🫡

Happy 4th of July everyone 🇺🇸 we’ll see you next week for our Water Games! In the meantime don’t forget to do the Bible reading plan! Run the race marked out for you with perseverance 🙏🏼

Tonight we kick off the most epic month of the year 🔥 it’s Team USA night, so make sure to wear red, white, and blue! We’ll have some super American games 🇺🇸 and we’ll end the night with fireworks and apple pie 🎆 🥧 🫡

Unfortunately we have to cancel Refuge tonight out an abundance of caution. We are in the midst of a heat advisory, and our AC is not working at the church. We just do not want to risk anyone getting overheated. We love you you all and will see you next week 🫶🏼

Then next Wednesday, 6/26, we wrap up this incredible series Hallowed Be Thy Name 🙏🏼 we’ll be finishing it up with some names of Jesus!

Lastly, all month of July we’ll be having our Refuge Summer Games 👏🏼 starting with Team USA night on July 3rd! Summer is going to be epic, you don’t want to miss it! 🫡

Lock-in was wilddd 🔥 we had a a powerful service, epic games (Underground Church, iykyk!) and most importantly an amazing time with our friends from 🫶🏼

We have two amazing Bible Clubs, and we are celebrating the end of the school year in both this week 🙌🏼

Mt. Olive’s Bible Club end of the year party will be this Monday 6/3 during lunch in room S12. Hackettstown’s Bible Club end of the year party will be Friday 6/7 during lunch in room A32!

There will be special food and games and prizes, and one final word as we look back over the year and say goodbye to our seniors 🥹🫶🏼 We’ll see you there! ❤️

Last night in Refuge taught us how to use the SOAP Bible study method in our own personal devotional time 👏🏼

The Word of God is powerful; it’s our compass and guide in this crazy world. Don’t just read it to check something off your list. Instead, really dive into the Scriptures in order to discern God’s will for your life 🙌🏼 the SOAP method is an easy tool to help you go deeper. Try it on your own this week 🫶🏼

This past month we have been seeking the God of Revival in a huge way! The Lord is doing something new in Refuge Youth, and we’re so excited to see a move of the Spirit tonight as we wrap up this series and take ownership of the revival that we’ve been praying for 🙏🏼
