So proud of our 20 Middle Schoolers who participated in Camden Catholic High School's iDesign Competition last week.
They worked together on teams of 5 and used common materials such as popsicle sticks, pipe cleaners, and rubber bands to design a phone holder that would solve a problem for a target audience.
Throughout the 4-hour competition they worked with Camden Cathoic High School students and learned about the design and inventing process and how engineers solve problems every day. They even got to present their inventions onstage with a power point presentation. We are proud of them and look forward to see what our teams do next year! Thank you to Mrs. Buechele for bringing them to this great event.

Congratulations to our cross country team who ran in its championship meet this past Saturday and finished the day with First Place in both the boys and girls races!
There were also individual wins by Anna W. ( Cadet girls), Erin C. ( Senior girls) and Jimmy R. (Senior boys). We know Coaches Gush and Callinan are extremely proud of these runners, many of whom ran personal bests on a rare hot day in October. All of the runners showed Falcon pride.

Our Rosebud Academy Preschool Director, Fern Love, was on an episode of Talking Catholic. She is so knowledgeable and we are so proud and happy our students have her!
Early childhood education, especially at the preschool level, has become increasingly important for families. To that point, the preschool programs across South Jersey Catholic Schools has seen an increase in enrollment. But, how do you pick the right program for your child?
On the show this week, hosts Marianela Nunez and Mike Bress were joined by Teresa Casanas, Director/Teacher of the Dual Language Pre-K program at St. Anthony’s, and Fern Love, Director at Rosebud Academy, Barrington, to discuss their unique preschool programs.
The deep and enlightening conversation covered each guest’s journey to Catholic education and their respective locations, the value of including faith and religion for the “little guys”, and the overall importance of early childhood education. The group also talks about what separates each school from other preschool programs, including the dual-language program at St. Anthony’s and the transitional kindergarten program at Rosebud Academy.
