We receive the light then we impart the light. Thus we repair the world.

In our meditative time, we place our attention on the Light within us and the Light from which we flared forth.

We dwell on our oneness with that Force. We may think of it as electricity with a capital “E.” The light is our sustenance. We drink it in and it becomes us.

The more mindful we are of this ongoing activity, the better equipped we are to repair the world when it is our time to act. Receiving the light is an act of communion. Imparting the light is an act of community-making.

Let us remember today that about 2,000 years ago, there lived a man who did not focus on the superficial differences between people, but opened his heart and mind to everyone without exception. Since then, many women and men have done the same. We can 'do' that as well! The best way to celebrate Easter is to remember his legacy and to keep it alive by loving unconditionally. It is possible. Because Love is what we actually are.
