Brothers,
The Worthy Grand Knight and fellow officers have recommended the following changes for our weekly prayer
requests, effective June 1, 2024.
Weekly prayer intentions will be streamlined to focus on the criteria for our Closing Prayers at our meetings,
Before proceeding to the closing prayer, let me ask: Does any brother know of a member of this Council, or brother of
the Order, who is sick or in distress.
“In distress,” will include concern for close family members, who are recently deceased or seriously ill.
The prayer intentions will be included in the weekly emails for up to three (3) weeks.
Ailing Brothers, Deceased Brothers, Ailing Family, and Deceased Family will continue to be published in the Fraternal
Report each month in “The Flagship,” which will be updated every 12 weeks.
Please continue to submit your weekly prayer intentions. Santa Maria Council will continue to pray for all those intentions
in our weekly and monthly reports, as well as those we hold in our hearts.
VIVAT JESUS!
