I've always wanted to try painting a whale. There are so many cool pictures and videos for inspiration (this inspiration can be found by googling "watercolor whale").

What better to paint when you can't sleep than a whale 🐋

Well, hello! It's been a while.

One good thing (the only good thing, really) about having covid a second time is finally having time again to paint!

As you've all seen, I don't post much anymore. I have so little time to mask art that when I do, I don't see it as worthy so I hide it. But this year will be different and I encourage everyone to post your creations unapologetically!

It's sPoOkY season! And when a dear friend's favorite holiday is Halloween, you just have to create something fun! I got this idea from a YouTube tutorial so it's not original and it's only a gift but it was lots of fun to do and got me back to my roots - watercolor 😊

It's been a while since I've been able to really create much but I had a gift I had to get done which led to taking an old painting and turning it in to a gift as well. Any excuse to use a glue gun I will take 😂 definitely see more of these in my future!

Because I couldn't just do one yesterday!

Kids need our help to feel better all the time. What they don't know is that we need their help to feel better too! After being a slump for far too long, I took my son up to paint and immediately started to feel like my old self again watching him pick colors and attempt to destroy my paint brushes! (we're still working on that 😂) So thankful he enjoys art too!

So, in true little sister fashion, I had to copy Harley Rae Fractal and try my first acrylic pour! I learned A LOT from this process and can't wait to keep doing them to keep learning.

Practice practice practice! I was recently challenged by a fellow artist friend to paint small and paint often to help the learning process.

I've been in a post-holiday slump lately and have been struggling to paint. There's a challenge going on in one of my watercolor pages called The Tiny Masterpiece Challange where you see how much you can paint as small as possible. It's so much fun!

Trying hard to practice with to try my hand at a gift I need done asap. This was my experiment! I learned A LOT doing this piece. One of them being that watercolor is way easier for me 😂

Christy was on fire today! I still don't know how she paints so well on these guys 😍 also, I've discovered how to add pictures to these babies (Go Bills!!!!)! We're still taking orders for Christmas but get them in quick so you don't miss out!
