Our next pack event is a Bike Rodeo is this Thursday, August 15th at 6:30pm at Hamilton Reformed Church.

A bike rodeo is a fun way to learn some bike skills, safety rules, and have fun being active on bicycles.

What do you need to bring? 🚲🚲🚲🚲🚲🚲

Bring your bicycles, helmets, water bottles, and friends! All participants are required to wear a helmet.

If you do not have a bike or helmet, or are unable to transport your bikes to the event please reach out! We might have one you can borrow or can arrange bike pickups. Scouts are encouraged to bring a friend along. 🚲🚲

SUMMER CAMP 2024 Ge**er Scout Reservation
A group of 7 of our Scouts attended Arrow of Light camp for 3 nights at Ge**er Scout Camp this week and had a blast! BB Guns, Archery, Climbing, Rappelling, Canoeing, Paddleboard, lots of songs and skits and slushies...and an indoor swimming pool right in one of our tents! These kids are amazing and hopefully learned a lot and had fun. Here are some of the pics that we took (more to be shared with the group that went...lol, there are hundreds of pics!)

Of the athletes representing the United States in the 2024 Summer Olympics, 13 are Eagle Scouts! We’ve got Eagles as basketball players, swimmers, rowers, track and field athletes, water polo player, cyclists, shooting sports specialists, and canoeists on Team USA! 🇺🇸🥇

We had such an amazing time camping this weekend despite the heat and the storms! We had lots of new activities and games to play including letter boxing, leather stamping, and the tree hugger game. Lots of great conversations while cooking and eating, good success with the new mess kits, creative skits and desserts around the campfire. We even had a deer visit us and caught lots of fireflies.

Thank you to all of the leaders who made this campout a success especially Rhianna with all the food prep and Kristie for all the activities and games! Many other leaders put a lot of time into the weekend as well bringing wood, helping set up, cook, clean up, and more!

5 scouts from Hamilton attended the scout day at the capitol in Lansing last week. Mason and Mackenzie were even selected to be delegates of Scouting America and had a busy schedule interacting with some of the state government employees and getting an in depth tour. This was a super fun event. Consider joining us at the capitol next year!

A heartfelt thank you to the Wes Leonard Heart Team for their generous donation of an AED to our Scouts! Members of Hamilton Pack 3033 and Troop 33, Hamilton, MI were able to meet Mrs. Leonard today at the golf fundraiser to accept the AED. We are so appreciative for this life saving device. 💞
