We know how difficult it can be to protect your hair, especially in the summer ☀️ That’s why we’ve come up with a list of helpful tips to protect your hair ⬇️

✨ Wetting and applying conditioner to your hair before getting in the pool can help create a barrier from harsh chemicals and chlorine discoloration.
✨ Strong wind can cause damage too! Avoid wind damage by securing the ends of your hair when on the beach, riding your bike, or out on the baseball field.
✨ Secure long hair in braids to avoid knots and matting when swimming underwater.
✨ Avoid using over the counter lightening sprays such as Sun-In or Sun Bum. These can cause major discoloration and dryness.
✨ If wearing extensions, certain sunscreens can cause major discoloration. Avoid sunscreens with Avobenzone & Octocrylene. Hair extension safe sunscreens are typically mineral & reef safe 🌊
