Our youngest daughter Isla finally created an elderberry tea blend perfect for her personality. She calls it her magical unicorn blend.

We will have Isla's Unicorn Tea Blend this week at markets! It is blackberries, elderberries, backberry leaves, white peonies, and butterfly Pea flowers... all organic colorful fruits and flowers and the tea changes color "magically" if you add an acid to it (like lemon juice). Should be fun!!!

It's back to school time!!!! And that usually means an exposure to more germs, too. Be sure to stock up on our elderberry syrup with local honey and give your immune system a healthy wellness boost! National Farmers Market Week is here! 🧑🏻‍🌾🌱🥕

This week, we are shining a light on our incredible farmers and producers! Here are just some of the things we’re celebrating:

🥕The Wilmington Farmers Market (WFM) is a producer-only market, meaning every vendor is vetted, to make sure they are selling only what they’ve grown, raised, or produced themselves, all well within 100 miles from Wilmington, NC. No reselling at this market!

🥕WFM welcomes everyone and provides access to fresh local food to lower income families in our community. We accept SNAP/EBT cards and double these benefits with our Double Bucks program. These customers can use their SNAP benefits to get up to $20 in free local food from the market.

🥕Fruit & veggies sold at the WFM are often harvested 1-2 days prior to arriving at the market, so you know you can find the freshest, most flavorful and nutrient dense produce available.

🥕Buying directly from the farmers means you can ask questions, find out when and where your food was grown, and what growing practices the farmer uses.

🥕WFM farmers use environmentally sound growing practices that help protect our land, waterways and local wildlife.

Hope everyone is staying safe and dry out there!

We are unfortunately going to cancel market this week. We want to keep everyone safe and off the roads as much as possible.

We were really looking forward to celebrating with you all!

Our traditional elderberry syrup flavor comes in both lozenge and lollipop form! Which delicious treat would you choose for your daily boost of wellness?

If you see me at a farmer's market and don't see these goodies on the table, it's just because the sun tends to make them sticky and I keep them in the freezer to stay fresh for you. Be sure to ask me for them!

It's finally here!!! Norris helped create an elderberry chai blend and we will have it available to sample and buy at the Wrightsville Beach Farmer's Market Monday from 8-1 and at Tidal Creek on Saturday 8-1!! Hope to see you there!

Have you tried our elderberry "Lumenade" named after our daughter Lumen??? It's a new twist on an old favorite:lemonade!

For those of you hosting or attending festivities this summer, try out this recipe to impress the guests. ​​​​​​​​​

2c Fresh Squeezed Lemon Juice
2c Granulated Sugar
10-12c filtered water to taste
4c Ice
2c Elderberry Syrup Mamas Elderberry Syrup

To Make:
Heat water and sugar to dissolve. Add in lemon juice, Elderberry Syrup and remaining cups of water. Mix well; then, add ice.

This drink is so refreshing; plus, it has an added benefit of boosting your immune system!

I feel so thankful for our local partnerships right here in Hampstead where we live! I'd like to give a special shout out to Hampstead Oils and Vinegars as our newest partnership. I am proud to announce our newest partnership with a 4th Ace Hardware. The Cross Family Ace Hardware at 1050 Henderson Drive in Jacksonville, NC is brand-new (open less than a month) but it is so clean and the employees are very knowledgeable.
