⭐️Affirmations are used to help strengthen self-worth by boosting both your positive opinion of yourself and your confidence in your ability to achieve your goals. They also help to combat the feelings of stress, panic, anxiety, and self-doubt.
⭐️Speaking these simple statements to yourself can help shift your focus and mindset from negative to positive.

Thinking negatively can become a dangerous habit. Thoughts sink into the mind and remain there until you take action to get rid of them.
Clearing negative thoughts from your mind completely can take some time, but with practice, you can clear your mind once and for all. Here are 3 ways to clear your mind of negative thoughts.
➡️Change your body language.
Improper body language can lower your self-esteem and lead to a lack of confidence. Correct your body language and you will feel much better.
➡️Empty your mind for a minute.
When your mind is racing, it can be difficult to stay calm and more complicated to control your thoughts. A minute of calmness or meditation can help to reboot your mind.
➡️Change the focus of your thoughts.
Instead of thinking, “I’m going through a tough time,” you may think, “I’m facing some challenges, but I will find a solution.” Making a small change of focus can make a huge difference in your thinking patterns.

Practice controlling your thoughts. Don’t let your thoughts control you.

The feeling of loneliness can affect anyone from time to time, and at any point in life. Loneliness can be due to many different factors and can affect both your emotional and physical health long term. If you are experiencing loneliness, consider these tips below. ⬇️
➡️ Join a Club.
Whether it is a book club or art class, joining a club exposes you to a group of individuals that share at least one interest. There is also a sense of belonging that comes with being part of a club.
➡️ Practice Self-Care.
You should always make sure you are doing what you can to take care of yourself, but especially when you are feeling down. Clean eating, getting the proper hours of sleep, and keeping your body moving will make you feel better in the long run.
➡️ Exercise.
Exercise is a huge part of self care and one of the best ways to manage feeling alone. It causes our body to release endorphins, which help to improve your mood. Joining group activities can also become a social outlet, while working on your physical health.
➡️ Learn a New Skill.
Learning a new skill gives your mind something else to focus on and look forward to everyday. Learning to draw, dance or something that you’ve always wanted to learn will help to comfort you when those lonely feelings arise.

Asking for help can be difficult for some individuals. We’re hardwired to want to do things on our own, be independent-minded, and heal ourselves. However, this can lead to making matters worse long term. Show your strength and ask for help.

When you experience a traumatic event, your body’s defenses take effect, which may make you feel physical symptoms, behave differently, and experience more intense emotions. A traumatic event can also lead to mental health issues such as post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), depression, anxiety, alcohol and drug use, as well as impact relationships with family, friends, and at work. If you or someone you know is dealing with trauma, it is important to turn to others for support, take care of your health, and seek professional help.
•
•
•
Some people are better equipped to deal with trauma than others. Some people will be affected more by trauma than others. Never belittle someone’s else’s past experiences.

Do not stress about the future, it has not arrived yet. Focused on living in the present and taking your situation one day at a time. Everything will be okay.
Practicing good mental health leads to positive self-image and in turn, satisfying relationships with friends and others. Having good mental health helps you make good decisions and deal with life’s challenges at home, work, or school. Here are a few ways to help boost your mental health.
➡️ Share your thoughts.
Connect with those who support you and discuss your thoughts. Talking about something makes you see things in a different light and helps you sort things out. Keeping things bottled can be unhealthy and could lead to depression if you don't talk to someone. Not everyone understands what you are going through, but opening up to others just to let your feelings out and vent about a problem is a great way to release all that tension that has been building for so long.
➡️ Set Goals.
Setting goals is a great way to
increase motivation, boost confidence, and to help create the changes that you want in your life. Ask yourself, "What is one thing I can do today that helps me get closer to where I want to be?" Once you become more confident, you can work on accomplishing larger, more long-term goals.
➡️ Exercise.
Exercise not only improves your physical health, it improves mental health by reducing anxiety, depression, and negative mood by boosting self-esteem and increasing your energy level.
Learning to take a break is vital for your mental and physical health. Take the time today to relax and do something that you enjoy. Happy Sunday! ✨

Women are far more likely to be diagnosed with BPD than men. In fact, about 75% of people diagnosed
with BPD are women; that's a ratio of 3 women to 1 man diagnosed with BPD. (Chapman J, 2021).
Borderline personality symptoms are confusing, frustrating, and tough for loved ones to understand.
This is mostly the case for parents or caregivers dealing with teens who have borderline personality
disorder (BPD). BPD is a serious mental health condition. Symptoms of borderline personality disorder include:
• Depression
• Frequent and intense changes in mood
• Fear of abandonment or rejection
• Difficulty maintaining relationships
• Impulsive and risky behavior
• Paranoia
• Self-harm
Adolescents who experience externalizing disorders such as oppositional defiant disorder (ODD) and attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) appear to be more likely to develop BPD symptoms in adolescence. Episodes of depression in adolescence appears to predict BPD during adulthood. This
suggests that early detection and the use of specific therapeutic interventions to address those symptoms may be helpful.
If your adolescent has been recently diagnosed with borderline personality disorder (BPD), you may feel overwhelmed, scared and alone. Helping him or her learn the facts about the disorder can help them feel more empowered to seek help through therapy and support groups.
