The Heavy Equipment Operator Skid Steer class was a partnership with Wallace State Community College, Alabama Community College System Innovation Center, Skills for Success, Royal Pines, Jimmie Hale and were sponsored by AmFirst Credit Union and the Paths for Success Foundation. ACCS Innovation Center worked with Alabama businesses and industries to develop a training that can be completed with an online theory portion followed by 16 hours of hands-on-training with qualified instructors at local community and technical colleges around the state. Participants who complete training earn an ACCS Credential which indicates to companies that the student has mastered the skill and is immediately ready for employment. Great beginning!
