Marley J is only slightly impressed with his rehab graduation! He came to see us after back surgery and has made great strides. We are so proud of the progress you have made!
This weeks graduate and almost birthday boy is Toby! Tony came to see us for his progressive osteoarthritis. He will continue a maintenance club program of laser, underwater treadmill and massage to continue to enjoy his senior years!
Our new graduate is Chase! This handsome boy came to IVRSM after his owner noticed front limb lameness. He was diagnosed with chronic tendon injuries in his shoulder and has responded well to rehab! We will continue with his weekly underwater treadmill sessions to help keep Chase active and allow him to sit in his favorite technician’s (Anna) lap.

Our next graduate this week is R***r! R***r has an active job with his mom and participates in scent work and rally. His owner noticed he was slowing down as he aged and wanted to pursue a rehab program to keep this handsome boy active for years to come!
This week our graduate is Odin! Odin was rescued by his owners as a senior and when they noticed a lot of weakness in his back legs. His genetic testing unfortunately revealed that he had condition called Degenerative Myelopathy. Although this condition is progressive, Odin is moving around his home and appears more comfortable!
Today’s graduate is Bilbo! Bilbo came to us with hind limb weakness. He previously had a fracture in pelvis and owners have noticed increased weakness over the past year. While Bilbo will continue to have rehab services we are excited to celebrate his progress!
Hope has finished her rehabilitation program and couldn’t be more excited for her celebratory cookie. Hope has bilateral medial luxating patellas which her owner wanted to manage conservatively.
Kaia has completed her post-op rehab program! She was diagnosed with medial luxating patella (MPLs). Her owners noticed she wasn’t rebounding as well as they hoped and wanted her to return to her active lifestyle. Thanks for letting us be part of your journey!
Our graduate this week is Tilly! Tilly had surgical repair of her L CCL and is doing great. Tilly’s favorite part of rehab is the peanut butter Kongs!
Congratulations to Napolean for completing his rehabilitation program! He came to us with intermittent back pain. His owner is noting increased activity and better posture. We are so proud of his progress!

This weeks graduate is our largest patient, Dane! He came to us for hind limb and core strengthening since his owner was noticing weakness in his hind end. Dane enjoys any modality that requires the use of peanut butter!
Sasha Piecko graduated for her conservative management and strengthening program after a closed hip reduction for a traumatic hip luxation!
This graduate has been with IVRSM for 2 years! Samson is 17.5 years young and began seeing us for rehab for conservative management of his CCL injuries. He is a rockstar in underwater treadmill and enjoy his massage session. We love seeing our seniors live their best golden years!
Max has finished his rehab program for his shoulder injury! He was adopted by his family as a senior foster failure and soon developed a lameness. His owner was on top of seeking rehab care and his is moving more comfortably and initiating play at home with his housemates. Max will continue with monthly massage and laser to keep him active in his golden years!

Integrative Veterinary Rehabilitation & Sports Medicine (IVR / IVRSM) provides Veterinary Physical Rehabilitation, Sports Medicine, Physical Conditioning and Integrative Veterinary Medicine for dogs and cats. Our multi-modal approach includes comprehensive physical evaluations and therapies such as therapeutic exercises, veterinary spinal manipulative therapy (VSMT) / Animal Chiropractic, therapeutic massage, therapeutic laser (photobiomodulation), therapeutic ultrasound, underwater treadmill, land treadmill, and PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma) in-house therapies. Each of our doctors and therapists are certified in canine rehabilitation. Our massage therapist is certified in canine massage and myofascial release.
