Beware of cheap labor rates, low prices for "system checkups", service providers that claim to fix everything and parts changers.

I have quote from another service company to repair a refrigeration system that is only 16 months old. What should have been a simple one-trip repair turned into a multi-thousand dollar quote where nearly every component needed to be replaced. Reading the proposal, the person that diagnosed the issue has no idea what they're doing. They're parts changers. Instead of figuring out what's wrong, they've decided to replace nearly everything. Parts were marked up several times above the actual cost. When the parts changer returns, I'm sure they will be nervous, hoping and praying they're able to fix the problem. If it doesn't, they'll have to start all over once again and submit another quote and order a bunch more parts. Maybe they're able get it fixed eventually, at great cost to the customer no doubt. But hey, look at that cheap labor rate, what a bargain the customer is getting!

You won't find any funny business at Chill-Craft Company. We're straight shooters. We don't use tricks and gimmicks to rope you in. We don't change parts because we don't know what's wrong. Our maintenance agreements don't contain any long term commitments. We don't offer introductory offers or flat rate BS to compensate for cheap labor rates. We don't claim to know it all either. The service coordinator's primary role is to deliver outstanding customer service while answering incoming phone calls, scheduling technician service calls, and creating and maintaining scheduled maintenance appointments.

Other tasks include, but are not limited to:

-Ensuring customer accounts are current prior to scheduling work.

Chill-Craft Company has been providing essential HVAC and Refrigeration services to the local community. To help our customers during this difficult time, our travel charge will be discounted by 50% for all service calls scheduled during normal business hours.

Any customer with a maintenance agreement can place a hold on monthly billing by replying to this email or calling our office. We will continue to maintain any location that is open regardless of the maintenance agreement status until all of our obligations have been satisfied, as long as it is safe to do so. When you're ready to reactivate your agreement, let us know and we'll resume normal monthly billing and scheduled maintenance.

Our technicians are equipped with disinfectant, gloves and masks. All of our employees have been instructed on proper hygiene and hand washing techniques. We're keeping up to date with CDC and local guidelines and regulations. We ask that customers ensure our technicians are safe, and that you keep a distance of at least six feet while we conduct business. We will not be collecting customer signatures at the completion of service calls in order to minimize contact. Technicians will wash and sanitize their hands and maintain a clean work area while on site. All of our employees are on strict orders to stay home if they are displaying any signs of illness or have been in contact with anyone known to be infected with COVID19.
