We know the importance of warming up and properly activating muscles before intense exercise. We prioritize 5-10 mins at the beginning of every class to make sure your muscles are ready for the workout and to improve the quality of those muscle fibers so that you have more ROM and move better! Today we're showing you how bands aren't just for making pull-ups easier, but also how they can make them tougher 💪 〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️ To setup: Attach bands to the low posts and then connect them to your weight belt 〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️ The bands will increase in tension as you get closer and closer to the top of your pull-up. This variation is good for increasing the strength at the end range of motion during your pull-up specifically, and building muscle. 〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️ These can be done with a tempo and something like 6-8 sets of 4-8 reps is a good scheme to go with depending on your pull-up strength. 〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️ Beginners: try to perform 4-5 sets of 2-3 reps of negatives resisting the bands. 〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️ 👇Try these in your next workout and let us know what you think.
