What? Football is starting? School in a few weeks?
Good day to you,
Over the past 90 days, we have been busy. We had a Dinner Raffle, a couple of our scholarship youngsters have/are working on charitable events, a delicious chicken BBQ, and a day of giving at Eddies of Gburg with our great new friends. Next up is our golf outing.
Old folks may remember our first and largest golf outing. Chairman Pat Whitehead Staub chaired a packed house at the Links, with a full slate on the course and a large gathering around the clubhouse to accompany it. We want to match that fun and energy again this year. The documents to play or support us are on the webpage, along with contact information.
We lost a longtime supporter last month very unexpectedly. Rosé McClintock, we will miss you.
We are meeting on Thursday, 8/8, at 6:30pm in the Mcsherrystown KofC basement. Please enter through the side door. We value your input and look forward to hearing your thoughts. Join us there.

Thanks are due. Starting in 2007, several dozen good folks recognized the potential of sending the best youngsters to Delone. They, you, worked the events, sold tickets, served on the Selection Committee, kept our books straight, and provided directions as Board members. We invite you to come to our meetings and share fellowship and gratitude. Our Winners Thrive because of your efforts.

So very proud of our 2018 John Gastley Scholarship Foundation winner Dylan Staub.
Congrats to Team Justice, AKA Olivia Francis, Peyton Moxley, and Dylan Staub, on earning first place, collecting $300 and securing the trophy in the annual Mount Student Criminal Justice Association’s Crime Scene Investigation (CSI) Challenge. The mock scene was based on a real-life case investigated and prosecuted by the Arlington County, Virginia, Police Department. Thanks to law enforcement officers from , , and for judging the Challenge. A makeup competition is being planned for student-athletes who were unable to participate, so more prizes will be awarded soon.
