I only did what my brother Bob would do---and he has helped countless musicians over the years -- and if you knew the extent of it your jaw would drop...

I want to give a shoutout and thanks to Paul Dolittle from Crossroads Music. We had a gig at Tolsons Tavern last night and after setting up the equipment and lights it was almost 8:00 when I reached in my gig bag to pull out my Bass when I realized it was a 6 string electric. So on my way home to retrieve my Bass I drove by Crossroads and decided to call them. Paul understood my needs as a musician and let me use a bass from his store. He saved me a lot of time and stress. Thank you 🎸

35 years ago yesterday 11/5/1988-- Extreme played our grand opening. We have some photos to post soon--
Paul: this was about 6 months before their first album came out, we already had a long rapport with them, and were expecting great things to happen when the album finally arrived. They were shy about performing, but we broke the ice with "More Than Words", then "Song For Love"--both were not released until their 2nd record--and then they played about 7 more songs to cap off the performance. I personally saw them over 100 times in the clubs, they were the uncrowned kings of the Boston music scene and all of us at Crossroads and our friends knew they were great....

Many of you already know that we have had a long relationship with Extreme. Here is a video from 1989 in Japan and Nuno is wearing our T-shirt during their show--

Tom and Paul played critical roles in the adventure that resulted in Extreme signing their record deal---and Tom connected Nuno with Washburn resulting in his ongoing relationship with the company. We have many stories--they all are great, talented guys--
