Many of you know that I have been out of the boutique on medical leave after major surgery 5/31. I’ve been going a little stir crazy and getting a little bummed. The last two mornings I received ‘guests’ reminding me to take time to heal and continue to relax so I can come back stronger. Thanks you God for these reminders. Yesterday morning we had this beautiful doe sitting in the woods right off our yard just hanging out and this morning Mr. and Mrs. Barred Owl popped in to say hello on our deck railing. May we always take time to enjoy the beautiful creatures God places in our path!

We had two more drop offs in the last two days! Pat with Pat's Sewing & Corner Cupboard Treasures brought in several new patterns of placemats and did a restock of many of her towels. Wendy with Sweet Paige Baking Co., LLC just dropped off fresh baked sourdough sandwich loaf and her new Infused Cocktail jars. These jars have all the ingredients to make delicious adult cocktails, you just add your favorite brand of alcohol and enjoy! Do I hear a heck yeah!?!?

Did you know we are home to the amazingly talented Ritch, owner and creator of Beech House Woodcraft located right here in Hanover? Ritch did a huge restock and brought in several new pieces including two Lazy Susan’s! All of Ritch’s cutting and charcuterie boards along with his furniture are handcrafted using beautiful wood species. He has an amazing eye to pull all these wood species together to create gorgeous designs. No wood staining here, those are the original wood species colors! This economy has been rough on everyone including small businesses. However, we are still seeing our community and those around us come in to support our amazing artists and makers. My daughter said something to me the other day that is so funny, but so true. She said I could never get rid of all my furniture in the basement because I’d be taking away my cats ‘jungle gym’ 😆🤪😆 My cats are a bit spoiled!! Show us some funny pics of your animals!
